The Virginia Beach Bike Classic
Virginia’s oldest and largest motorcycle rally, the 15th Annual Virginia Beach Bike Classic is one of the premier bike events on the east coast. This charity event has raised more than $500,000 for various charitable organizations including Juvenile Diabetes, the SPCA, Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, local high schools and most recently, the USO of Hampton Roads. This year, the proceeds benefit Child & Family Services, offering support to the families of our active duty military.
The site of this year’s Virginia Beach Bike Classic, Northlanding Beach Campgrounds, is just 15 miles from the Virginia Beach resort area and the beautiful sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. It’s also conveniently located just 45 minutes from historic Williamsburg and Busch Gardens – a great ride and fun times.
Northlanding Beach is located along the beautiful Intercoastal Waterway with a private beach and many conveniences. Overflow sites are available just a short ride away at our partner site Sandy Point Resort Campgrounds.
This year’s rally features…..live concerts from national recording artist Travis Tritt, Rebel Son and Black Oak Arkansas, local favorites The Right On Band, Butter, and Tin Roof Union. World famous bike builders Dave Perewitz, Donnie Smith, Big Rick Hoffman, Lee Clements and Tommy Swede are scheduled to appear. The popular Wall of Death, over 100 local and national vendors, bike show and a Parade of Bike are some of the other attractions offered by this event. The Virginia Beach Bike Classic has something for everyone, great riding, world class attractions and entertainment, beautiful weather and fun for the entire family. Be sure to mark your calendar and make the 15th Annual VBBC a “must do” on your 2011 bike rally circuit.
